Boogie Woogie : Jorg Hegemann - "Wall Street Diver"
Piece performed at the Boogie Woogie Congress in Essen Germany, March 2008. Jorg Hegemann is a fantastic exponent of Boogie Woogie piano playing, with a real crowd-pleasing style that always gets audiences literally whopping with delight. Jorg announced this piece as "Wall Street Diver" and went on to say that he wrote it as a tribute to the great pianist Albert Ammons, whose wonderful style of Boogie Woogie playing has had such a great influence and inspiration in Jorg's own work.
