HNK HAJDUK (CROATIA)

NK Hajduk is the largest and the most accomplished football club from Split, Croatia. Its characteristic color is white.

It was founded on November 13, 1911. The name originates from the hajduks, romantic bandits that fought the Ottoman Turks.

At home, it won three Yugoslav (royal) championships, eight Yugoslav (socialist) championships, and five Croatian championships, as well as eight Yugoslav cup titles and five Croatian cups.

Abroad, it played in the quarterfinals of the Champions Cup (now UEFA Champions League) three times, reached late stages of the Cup Winners' Cup twice, as well as twice in the UEFA Cup.

Its stadium is Poljud. The fans are called Torcida.
