The
Calgary Mustangs were a Calgary, Alberta, based A-League professional soccer
team, that played in 2004.
Despite playing on artifical turf at McMahon Stadium (the only A-League team
not to play on grass), the Mustangs had an acceptable season, and had
relatively good fan support. However, at the end of the year, the owners
elected not to renew their franchise, and the team disbanded. |
