Ruud van Nistelrooy is a Dutch soccer player, who currently plays for Real Madrid of Spain as a Forward.

Ruud van Nistelrooy was born Rutgerus Johannes Martinus van Nistelrooij on July 01, 1976 in Oss, Netherlands. His nicknames are Van the Man, Ruud Boy, RVN, Ruudi, El Gofy, Vantastic and Van Gol (by Spanish Press).

Ruud van Nistelrooy has played for Real Madrid since 2006, when he was transfered from Manchester United of England. With Real Madrid, Ruud van Nistelrooy played 37 matches, scoring 25 goals.

Ruud van Nistelrooy started his professional career in 1993 at the age of 17 playing for FC Den Bosch of Holland. With FC Den Bosch, Ruud van Nistelrooy played 69 matches, scoring 17 goals.

In 1997 Ruud van Nistelrooy was transfered from FC Den Bosch to SC Heerenveen of Holland.
With SC Heerenveen, Ruud van Nistelrooy played 31 matches, scoring 13 goals.

In 1998 Ruud van Nistelrooy was transfered from SC Heerenveen to PSV Eindhoven of Holland.
With PSV Eindhoven, Ruud van Nistelrooy played 67 matches, scoring 62 goals. He won 5 titles: 3 Dutch Super Cup (1998, 2000 and 2001), 2 Eredivisie (2000 and 2001).

In 2001 Ruud van Nistelrooy was transfered from PSV Eindhoven to Manchester United of England.
With Manchester United, Ruud van Nistelrooy played 140 matches, scoring 95 goals. He won 3 titles: 1 English Premier League (2002/03), 1 FA Cup (2004) and 1 English League Cup (2006).
