Paolo Maldini is an Italian soccer player, who currently plays for AC Milan of Italy as a Defender.

Paolo Maldini was born on June 26, 1968 in Milan, Italy. His nicknames are Il Capitano (The Captain), San Paolo (Saint Paul) and Cuore di Drago (Dragonheart).

Paolo Maldini started his professional career in AC Milan at the age of 16. He has played 600 matches, scoring 28 goals. He won 17 titles: 7 Serie A (1987/88, 1991/92, 1992/93, 1993/94, 1995/96, 1998/99 and 2003/04), 4 Champions League (1988/89, 1989/90, 1993/94 and 2002/03), 5 UEFA Super Cup (1989, 1990, 1994, 2003 and 2007) and 1 Coppa Italia (2002/03).
