Javier Zanetti is an Argentinian soccer player, who currently plays for Inter Milan of Italy as a Defender.

Javier Zanetti was born Javier Adelmar Zanetti on August 10, 1973 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His nicknames are The Captain, The Tractor, Pupi and The Silent Engine.

Javier Zanetti has played for Inter Milan since 1995, when he was transfered from CA Banfield of Argentina. With Inter Milan, Javier Zanetti played 390 matches, scoring 11 goals.
He has won 4 titles: 1 UEFA Cup (1997/98), 2 Coppa Italia (2004/05 and 2005/06) and 1 Serie A (2005/06).
