Javier Saviola is an Argentinian soccer player, who currently plays for Real Madrid of Spain as a Forward.

Javier Saviola was born Javier Pedro Saviola on December 11, 1981 in Capital Federal, Buenos Aires, Argentina. His nickname is El Conejo (The Rabbit).

Javier Saviola has played for Real Madrid since 2007, after he was released from FC Barcelona of Spain.

Javier Saviola started his professional career in 1998 at the age of 17 playing for River Plate of Argentina. With River Plate, Javier Saviola played 85 matches, scoring 45 goals. He won 2 titles: 2 Primera Division Argentina (1999 Apertura and 2000 Clausura).

In 2001 Javier Saviola was transfered from River Plate to FC Barcelona of Spain.
With FC Barcelona, Javier Saviola played 119 matches, scoring 49 goals. He won 7 titles: 2 La Liga (2004/05 and 2005/06), 1 Champions League (2005/06), 4 Supercopa de Espana (2005, 2005, 2006 and 2006), 4 Supercopa de Espana (2005, 2005, 2006 and 2006).

In 2004 Javier Saviola was transfered from FC Barcelona to AS Monaco of France on a loan deal, after agreeing on a fee.
With AS Monaco, Javier Saviola played 29 matches, scoring 7 goals.

In 2005 Javier Saviola was transfered from FC Barcelona to Sevilla FC of Spain on a loan deal, after agreeing on a fee.
With Sevilla FC, Javier Saviola played 30 matches, scoring 9 goals. He won 3 titles: 2 UEFA Cup (2005/06 and 2006/07) and 1 UEFA Super Cup (2006).
